I designed social media graphics and direct mail postcards for Contra Costa County Health Services to encourage patients – both children and adults – to schedule annual checkups with their primary care doctors during the pandemic. As stay-at-home orders kept communities isolated, routine preventive care was being skipped, putting public health at risk. The campaign needed to feel urgent yet reassuring – motivating people to leave home for an essential appointment without adding to the fear and anxiety already present during COVID.
